A Beautiful Day!

Hello my crafty BoBunny friends,

It's Angela here and I'm pleased to introduce you my brand new Misc Me binder where I keep my memories and family adventures.

I'm a working mum and time is never enough, but I found Misc Me is a fun beautiful time-saving system to organize photos in an album.

Below is how I pop-up the word JOY with Chocolate Pearlesent and a with gel pen on the first introduction page.

Particularly today I'd like to show you a beautiful day we, my family and I, spent with some dear friends last July.

It was a sunny day and the location surrounded by the green hills.

Sweet Moments Collection is the one I've chosen to frame the trip, because of its green and brown colors with a touch of pink. You know, pink is never enough for me! :-)

I usually prefer printing my photos on square format, so Misc Me Pocket Squares are perfect to mat them. And not only that! In the picture below I've used them to mat my title.

Here a closeup of a paper clip I've made using Sweet Moments Noteworthy. I love elements that pop out from the pages, it's like a peekaboo that invites you to open the album.

Here is another closeup of how I've used Misc Me Pocket Squares for journaling.

These are the pages I prefer. Me and my sons on the left and my funny husband on the right. He was pretending to ring a bell.

To give more interest to the page, I stick a banner with a string.

Between the two pages I put an acetate sheet with a doodle all around that frames the four photos and a Pocket Square in the middle.

Turning the acetate the sheet frames the left page of the album.

Isn't it clever?

A Sweet Moment's Tea Party!

Hello Everyone! I love to have tea parties, they can be elaborate to simple, For today's project I created projects for a children's tea using sweet moments collection. I created several elements for a little girls tea party - a center piece, an invitation, a name plate, a place mat & a treat bag (treat tea cup).

The tea cup treat holder, Name place holder and a teapot place mat.

Tea Party Invitation, The rose it highlighted using Tutu glitter paste. The top & bottom of the tea pot has Chocolate and Blush Pearlescents accenting the teapot lid and the base of the tea pot.

The dessert tray was created by using different size plates and empty ribbon spools. Each circle was covered with pattered paper from the Sweet Moments collection. The trim was made by using a punch and lace trim, I placed some of the chipboard die cuts to create a 3D effect, along with 3 glass bottles filled with small beads.

Tis the Season Layout!

Hello BoBunny Friends! It's Shizuka here  today, I would like to share with you my layout  from Tis The Season collection.

[JOY] layout by Shizuka Hirano

In this collection, the design of the traditional shade is so gorgeous. I love Christmas color combination. I decorated the cut out of the poinsettia from the pattern paper. And I put my son photos on the ornament pattern paper.

I put Ruby Red Brads in the center of the flower. It's looks so pretty! And, I have colored flowers with silver Glitter Paste. Adding a jewel for decoration makes it all so beautiful!

I added on the texture by using a Kaleidoscope Stickable stencil and White Gesso on paper. In addition to the finish, I colored with the Gesso also to the entire layout.

Layered Chipboard has add a such presence to it! A small Rubby Red jewels is easy to put on the wall because it connected.

With the Silver Glitter Paste to the ornament, it has seen in three dimensions. It is very beautiful and has been sparkling.

I hope you enjoyed my Tis The Season [JOY] layout.

Thank you for popping by today!!

A Festive Fine Arts Friday!

Hello everyone. It's Elena here with you today.

I have already mentioned that I started working on my Christmas projects. You know, it's better to start earlier, then you will be ready for it in time.

Frosty Christmas Tags by Elena Olinevich using BoBunny Tis The Season Collection

I am still enjoying working with Tis the Season collection and it's such a fun to explore new colors of it each time.

For my project - I made Frosty Cristmas Tags - I decided to play with some art mediums and to explore how can the paints and beautiful papers can be incorporated into something special.

So I started with covering my tags base with the papers, and after - I applied gesso. When it dried I added Crackle Primer. I left it for the full dry and then....

I totally forgot that I planned to add White Crackle Paste.

I realized it later when I misted my tags with blue and and Sugar sprays and a very beautiful color has released as a result.

It was difficult to catch the different shades of the shimmer while making the shot.

However I liked how the primer holds the color and let it flow only if you lean the tag or smooth it with the brush.

I also made some fussy and die cut the frame that I cut into 2 parts and used them for both tags.

I embellished the die cut ornaments with the brads and added the jewels in blue and green.

And the last accent that made the tags look more festive and frosty - was adding the glitter paste in silver and green colors.

I like how everything glitters now and the brads serve as the main embellishment there.

A Jolly Mixed Media Thursday with Tis the Season!

Hello Crafty Friends!

Amy here sharing a mixed media layout with you all. I have used the Tis The Season Collection.
And as an extra treat I have created a video tutorial for you all.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YD3F1mNSums

I love the colours in the collection and beautiful ephemera.

The pearlescent are perfect for creating enamel dots and water colour backgrounds.

To make the background I have:

 - layered texture paste over the star stencil.

 - Mixed the Pearlescent Gold with water and painted

 - Repeat with silver pearlescent

 - Once dry use Gold Glitter paste to accent

 - Once dry stamp with the wall to wall stamp

 - Finally splatter Pearlescent as enamel dots

So I hope you love it.

Stay Scrappy

Amy xoxo

1 Layout 3 Ways with Tis the Season

Merry Christmas 1 Page 3 Ways designed by Rhonda Van Ginkel

"Beginner"
Merry Christmas Scrapbook Page featuring Tis the Season Collection by BoBunny designed by Rhonda Van Ginkel

Greetings and welcome to the blog today, it's Wednesday and that means the project for today is one scrapbook page created in three degrees of difficulty. My page for today features our new "Tis The Season" holiday collection. It has wonderful classic designs and fun elements.

To create the "Beginner" page, I started by tearing a few strips from a few of my favorite papers and then layered them on the left to create an anchor for my photo. Next, trimmed one of the bingo cards, distressed the edges and crumpled it up for texture. To finish, the matted photo is added and also a sentiment selected along with a few embellishments from the Noteworthy contents.

"Intermediate"

To build the intermediate page, I began by stitching around the border of my page, distressed the edges a bit by working them with my fingers. I then adhered to the top of "Traditions" paper which is a rich dark red color. I liked the contrast of the red peeking out here and there on the border edges.

I knew I wanted to add some Glimmer Spray splatters in Frost and Sugar so I prepped my paper with White Gesso on top of the strips and worked in a triangular pattern to my photo focal point.

Once dry, I added splatters, layering some on top of each other to drip. Sporadically I included a bit of Silver Foil Transfer in Filagree and Accents. A bit more zig zag stitching was done and I left the loose thread tails for texture. I also added a bit of ribbon to anchor my title work.

"Advanced"
Merry Christmas Scrapbook Page featuring Tis the Season Collection by BoBunny designed by Rhonda Van Ginkel

To build a bit more interest and detail from the intermediate page, I selected a few stamps and additional Noteworthy items, such as the candy cane, gift, hanging ornament and string of lights.

I also added a bit of drywall texture tape I had laying around on my desk and tucked it under the photo on the right after I had stamped and before I adhered the snowman, poinsettia and string of lights.

To accent my string of lights, of course I had to use some Double Dot Jewels in Citrus, Emerald, Ruby Red and Tuxedo. I tucked in a few die cuts using the "Lovely Leaf" dies under the Poinsettia Noteworthy element. A Double Dot Brad in Tuxedo is used to anchor the hanging ornament.

The final touch for this page was the little red bow which I anchored on my photo at the top left, below the tab. I accented with a small Ruby Red Dot Jewel.

I hope you enjoyed the journey in building this page from basic to advanced. It's always fun to see how it comes together. Thank you for stopping on over and spending a moment here on the blog with us today.
